It all starts with our great friend Ramón
More than 15 years ago, he and his family arrived in Liberia with a clear purpose: to dedicate their lives to serving others. Since then, they have accompanied street children, worked in orphanages, hospitals and even in prison, always with the same commitment and love for those who need it most.
Their dedication inspired us to create this project, bringing a piece of Liberia to the world through each bag. Because each design not only tells a story, but is also part of a legacy of hope and transformation.
Color
African macaws are living canvases that tell stories, convey emotions and reflect the identity of a people. In each design, colors intertwine to give life to geometric and symbolic patterns, full of meaning and tradition.
Endurance
Lapa is not only remarkable for its beauty, but also for its quality and durability . Traditionally, it is made from high-quality cotton and dyed using techniques such as batik wax, ensuring that the colours remain vibrant over time, even after many washes.
Identity
The lapa is much more than just a piece of cloth; it is a symbol of cultural identity and community pride . In many African countries, the use of certain prints and colours is associated with different regions, clans or even specific events.
